Become a YOST Benefactor

You can become a Benefactor by sponsoring the annual cost of a Young Organ Scholar, which is £84 each month or £1000 per annum.

Become a YOST Friend

You can become a Friend with any level of donation from £8-40 per month toward the cost of sponsoring an Organ Scholar.

Become a YOST Member

Any donation from £25 per annum secures membership of the Trust.

You can sponsor a Young Organ Scholar in a chosen area of the UK as:
  • An individual Benefactor of the Trust
  • A group of Friends of the Trust, acting collectively
  • An institution such as a church, club or society
  • A business or group of businesses.

Your sponsorship will pay the Trust £84 per month for organ lessons, which will pay for the training of one Organ Scholar in your chosen part of the UK. You will receive invitations to Trust events, including any events in your own area.

Please note that, for Safeguarding reasons, the Scholarship recipient cannot be individually identified.

If you or your group wish to sponsor a Scholar in your area, the Trust scheme will find a suitable Young Organ Scholar, a professionally qualified organ teacher and a Supervisor. We will ensure that there is full parental understanding and support

Scholars will usually be on the scheme for up to five years. We operate a probationary first year which enables the Trust to ensure that each Scholar is suitable to continue in the scheme. Our Trust status will enable some degree of tax advantage for some taxpayers.
